We’re Hiring | Pro Bono Circle – JurisGrid
At JurisGrid, we are committed to building a dynamic and inclusive legal ecosystem that empowers law students, young professionals, and society at large. As a growing legal platform, JurisGrid focuses on bridging the gap between legal knowledge and practical impact by providing opportunities, resources, and collaborative spaces for aspiring legal minds. Through our various initiatives, we aim to foster legal awareness, professional development, and meaningful contributions to the justice system.
As part of this vision, we are proud to introduce the Pro Bono Circle, a dedicated wing of JurisGrid focused on creating real social impact through law. The Pro Bono Circle works towards spreading legal awareness, educating individuals about their rights and duties, and addressing pressing socio-legal issues that often go unnoticed. It is designed as a platform where law students can step beyond academics and actively contribute to society while developing practical skills in research, policy, and community engagement.
About the Pro Bono Circle
The Pro Bono Circle operates with the objective of making law more accessible and impactful at the grassroots level. Members of this initiative engage in activities such as conducting legal awareness drives, interacting with communities, simplifying complex legal concepts for the general public, and contributing to policy-level discussions through structured research and recommendations.
This initiative not only helps in creating social change but also equips members with essential skills such as legal research, drafting, public interaction, and policy analysis—skills that are crucial for a successful legal career.
Work Structure
To ensure effective participation and impact, the Pro Bono Circle functions through a structured model based on location:
Delhi (Regional Unit): Members based in Delhi will actively participate in offline initiatives, including legal awareness sessions in schools, colleges, and local communities, along with on-ground engagement activities.
Bangalore (Regional Unit): Members residing in Bangalore will similarly contribute to offline awareness campaigns and community-based legal initiatives within the region.
Other Locations (Policy Reform & Advisory Unit): Applicants from outside Delhi and Bangalore will work remotely in the Policy Reform & Advisory Unit, focusing on researching socio-legal issues, drafting policy recommendations, and proposing reforms to relevant authorities and institutions.
