Out of 439 cases listed, a total of 225 cases were settled, providing immediate relief to litigants.
A large proportion of the matters involved Motor Accident Claim petitions, where compensation disputes were resolved through negotiation and mutual agreement.
Through the Lok Adalat proceedings, compensation amounting to ₹9.44 crore was awarded to victims and their families.
Lok Adalats function under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, and are designed to facilitate speedy, cost-effective, and amicable resolution of disputes outside the traditional court process.
Such initiatives help in reducing judicial backlog while ensuring quick justice for affected parties.
