About MOOT Sphere 

Every law student remembers the first time they tried to argue a case aloud. The hesitation before the first sentence. The search for the right words. The moment when theory suddenly had to stand on its own in front of questions, interruptions, and reasoning….Moot Sphere was born from that moment. It was created to give students a space where uncertainty is welcomed, mistakes are part of growth, and advocacy is treated as a craft, one that improves only through discipline, repetition, and reflection. Within JurisGrid, Moot Sphere functions as the platform where legal knowledge begins to speak. 

WHAT MOOT SPHERE STANDS FOR 

Moot Sphere is JurisGrid’s dedicated wing for mooting and advocacy development. It focuses on preparing students to think critically, research deeply, draft precisely, and speak persuasively. Here, advocacy is approached as a skill that is trained, not a talent one is expected to possess from day one. Students engage with: 

● Case law not as material to memorise, but as reasoning to understand 

● Arguments not as speeches, but as structured conversations with the law 

● Competitions not as endpoints, but as learning experiences

● Head, Moot Sphere: Saksham Goyal The Head oversees the strategic vision of the wing, ensuring that training, competitions, and collaborations maintain high academic and professional standards. 

● Co-Head, Moot Sphere: Priya Garg The Co-Head works closely with teams and members, focusing on execution, mentoring, and continuity. The role involves shaping training modules, coordinating teams, and maintaining the consistency that advocacy training demands. Leadership within Moot Sphere is understood as quiet responsibility ensuring that systems work, students grow, and standards are never diluted. 

HOW MOOT SPHERE FUNCTIONS 

Moot Sphere operates through specialised teams, each contributing to the larger goal of advocacy excellence. 

1.Research & Content: “The backbone of every strong argument.” 

● This team works at the foundation of every moot that is research. Members engage with judgments, statutes, and academic material, helping shape arguments and draft memorials with clarity and coherence.

2. Event Coordination: “Where ideas meet execution.” 

● From scheduling rounds to coordinating judges and participants, this team ensures that every moot and training session runs smoothly and professionally.

3. Publicity & Design: “Because excellence deserves visibility.” 

● Advocacy deserves visibility. This team handles creative communication, visual identity, and digital outreach, ensuring that Moot Sphere’s work reaches the wider legal community.

4. Outreach & Communication Team: “Building bridges beyond boundaries.” 

● This team manages institutional communication, collaborations, and participant coordination, helping Moot Sphere build meaningful connections beyond JurisGrid.

● Behind every successful event is meticulous documentation. This team manages registrations, records, certificates, and technical support.
